I am the artist and creator behind Silly Niska.

I’m a northern Cree mother, maker, and visual storyteller. For me, art is personal. It’s how I reflect, reconnect, and create space for expression — whether I’m painting, drawing, beading, or designing something that just feels good to make. A lot of what I share is inspired by lived experience, culture, land, and emotion.

Silly Niska started as a way to share my art and creative work, and it’s slowly grown into something more through blending handmade pieces, digital designs, and language-inspired creations. Some of it’s playful, some of it’s bold, and some of it holds deeper meaning — but all of it is rooted in authenticity.
